Happy Spring!

From a water availability viewpoint I was very happy to get rain these last few weeks, but in every other way I am loving the sunshine. As I write this it is 70+ outside (begging the question, why am I inside??). American Canyon is all about community and this time of year that certainly shows. Last weekend my family and I enjoyed the Spring Celebration at Community Park II immensely - egg hunts, chalk art and even some science at the pollination station! Next weekend the community comes together for the annual Community Recognition Ball ( tickets are available until midnight Sunday). This party is the epitome of American Canyon, a celebration of volunteerism and important recognition for the ones that go above and beyond for their community. I’d like to take this opportunity to send out a big thank you for all that you do to help make American Canyon so special. Be sure to enjoy the sunshine this weekend!
