Hello,
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August each year.
Here in American Canyon, representatives from the City, Police and Fire Departments celebrate as well by visiting the various block parties held throughout our community with some giveaways for the participants. The parties are hosted by residents of the community and take place in neighborhood common areas, parks, on-street blocks, and courts. Party hosts usually share flyers in their immediate neighborhood and post details in their neighborhoods on
Nextdoor.com.
Residents should check
Nextdoor.com, in addition to the list below, to find a party nearest to where they live. The hosts of the parties listed below are welcoming anyone in the community to join them. If you'd like to volunteer to help or bring something, please call the contact.
