To help the public determine whether they have COVID-19, the flu, a cold, or allergies, federal officials released a graphic that interprets their symptoms. It is extremely important that you contact your doctor immediately should you have concerns. Please remember to call ahead so that the medical staff can be best prepared for your arrival.

#smileBrisbane
The Brisbane Parks and Recreation Department’s motto is “making memories”. With their new #smileBrisbane campaign, they’re focused on doing just that, and are finding ways to do so remotely. Here's a special message to the community from Parks & Rec:

Hello Brisbane residents! We recognize that this is a complicated time and we want you to know that you're not alone and we are here for you! We are a resilient community founded on neighbors helping neighbors. We believe that recreation comes to the rescue in some of life’s most difficult times. We are champions of the human spirit and that doesn’t change despite what is happening around the world today. Does the recent shelter in place order make it harder for us to live out the mission of our department? Sure, but we like a challenge. More so, we like to see our residents happy and, therefore, challenge accepted! We believe in making memories for our community and today’s no different. So...we're rolling out #smileBrisbane , an initiative focused on continued service to our residents that intends to combat social isolation and support community health & wellness. Over the next several weeks, our team will be curating remote recreational opportunities for residents of all ages and sharing them via social media and web-based platforms. Join us on this journey and we promise not to let you down!

Stay Home Stay Healthy
The City of Brisbane is concerned about the health and safety of our residents. Based on recent recommendations from the County Public Health Officer restricting gatherings, we have made the difficult decision to close confined gathering spaces . This includes the Community Park Playground , Tot Lot , Skatepark , and Basketball Courts . We invite you to enjoy the City’s open space options (i.e. trails) while observing social distancing for your personal health and safety. Thank you for your understanding.

Water Main Replacement Project | March 23-April 7 UPDATE
Essential construction projects, where, if halted, could negatively impact the health, safety, and welfare of the community, are being allowed to continue at this time, such as the Water Main Replacement Project on Kings Rd., up through the new main line being safely placed.

Kings Road will be closed in 500’ sections to all through traffic, including driveways, which started on Wednesday, 2/26. The road closures will be from 8am – 5pm, M-F. These closures, while inconvenient, are necessary as the crew starts the main line pipe replacement. Flaggers are located at each end of the project area to help direct motorists. The contractors will deliver notices to residents, outlining which days they plan on being in front of their house and blocking their driveway access.

A reminder that the City has made additional parking for residents available at the base of San Mateo Ln. @ Humboldt.

Please note the dates on all No Parking/Tow-Away signs that will be posted 72 hours in advance of enforcement; THESE SIGNS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED DURING THIS MAIN LINE INSTALLATION WORK

Emergency vehicles and pedestrian access will accommodated at all times, but please allow for additional time for safe access and egress. View our Water Main Replacement Project Story Map presentation to get more details of the work. Your continued cooperation and patience is greatly appreciated as the crew works to complete these important upgrades to the City’s water system.
