LATEST NEWS : Today, Bay Area health officers issued an revised Mandatory Stay-at-Home Order with new restrictions to last through May 3 rd. This is to allow for more time and additional restrictions needed to slow the spread of COVID-19 and to reduce future impact on local hospitals. Please read the press release here and the Formal Order here, which has been made into a searchable document.

LAST CALL - Applications Due by 4/2 to Serve on the Open Space and Ecology Committee
At their March 5th City Council Meeting, the Council motioned to re-open the application period for the Open Space and Ecology Committee. Applications will be accepted through 5pm on Thursday, April 2nd. All current applications will still be considered and go through the interview process with the City Council, who encourages all members of the public with an interest to apply. San Mateo County Psychological Association Zoom Meetings
The COVID-19 pandemic is having a wide-spread and significant impact on many aspects of daily life. The San Mateo County Psychological Association (SMCPA) recognizes the emotional impact that our community is experiencing and wants to help.

Please join them for a series of free Virtual Town Hall meetings where a mental health professional will offer tips on coping with stress, managing change, supporting your children and teens, and other relevant topics. They will also answer questions about how to maintain psychological well-being and support one another during these challenging times.

Census Tele-Town Hall
Wednesday, April 1st, 3:00pm
April 1 is Census Day, a key reference date for the 2020 Census. When completing the census, you will include everyone living in your home on April 1, 2020. You can respond online in one of 13 languages and find assistance in many more.
 
Responding to the census is important because it helps inform funding for key public services for your community like education programs and schools, hospitals and healthcare, roads and bridges, and emergency and disaster response. Take 5 minutes to respond now if you haven’t already at https://my2020census.gov/.
Brisbane Farmers' Market Returns
Thursday, April 2nd, 3:00pm-7:00pm | Community Park
In an effort to provide more local options for the community to get access to fresh produce and stay healthy during this difficult time, West Coast Farmers' Market Association will be back in the Community Park from 3-7pm, starting Thursday, 4/2. They will be observing social distancing guidelines and will be helping patrons to safely shop while at the market. Please observe all rules, such as:
 
  • Only 1-2 people allowed under a vendor's tent at any given time
  • Allow the vendors to bag the produce as much as possible (please just point to what you want), and to
  • Make sure you sanitize all bags and contents when you return home as you would with any essential shopping trip.
