March 3rd Presidential Primary Election Info
|
|
All voters can vote in the March 3, 2020 Presidential Primary Election.
But did you know that your registered political party determines the Presidential candidates that appear on your ballot?
The main point is,
if you're registered with a political party, but want a ballot from a
different party,
you must re-register. Go to
www.registertovote.ca.gov and click on the "Register to Vote Now" button.
The deadline to re-register online or by mail is midnight of Tuesday, February 18th.
If you registered "No Party Preference", and would like to request a Vote by Mail ballot for the American Independent Party, Democratic Party, or Libertarian Party, you'll need to follow the directions on the back of the Official Vote by Mail ballot (pictured above) to receive a partisan ballot. Vote by Mail ballots were delivered this past week.
Note: You may also re-register or request a partisan ballot at any Vote Center
through Election Day
. Brisbane City Hall's Council Chambers will be transformed into a
County Vote Center starting Saturday, February 29th - Election Day, Tuesday, March 3rd. But to save yourself time, we suggest taking care of this now.
A Ballot Drop Box is also available in the lobby of City Hall, where you'll be able to drop your mail-in ballot during City Hall's regular hours of operation -- M, Tu, Th: 8-5, W: 8-8, F: 8-1 -- and to of course, get your 'I Voted' sticker!

Water Main Replacement Project | February 10th-14th
UPDATE
|
|
Kings Road will be open again next week (2/10 – 2/14) as the crews finish installing the temporary bypass. Parking Restrictions are still in place. There may be a short disruption to your water service as they hook up the temporary line towards the end of the week. If you notice some bubbles in your water, this is normal and
not a water quality problem. If your water appears discolored, or bubbly, run cold water through a faucet for several minutes until it appears clear. Thank you for your patience as the project progresses!

Reminder: Garbage pickup will be early citywide
- be sure to put your carts out the night before. If pesky critters are preventing you from being able to do so,
please reach out to SSF Scavenger at (650) 589-4020 - they will install a gravity-locking mechanism for free!
