Good evening, San Gabriel

Last week, the City received reports of a sewer spill that occurred on South Arroyo Drive and portions of Santa Anita Avenue. Our Public Works team was able to mitigate the issue and restore normal sewage flow later that day. If you were affected by this sewage backup, please get in touch so we may offer assistance.

In addition, please be aware that the quarantine area for the Huanglongbing (HLB) citrus disease has grown in our community. Please visit this website to learn more on how you can spot the signs of HLB.

Now, here's what's making news for the week of June 6, 2018:

In a unanimous vote, the City Council approved an amendment for accessory dwelling units to comply with California law for a second reading at the next City Council meeting. Once this ordinance is formally adopted at the next City Council meeting, the ordinance will become effective after 30 days.
