Thank You Reagan Run 5K for Your Support!

Thank you to the 🏃‍♂️ Reagan Run 5K 🏃‍♀️for continuing to support Discover Dixon! 🤩 Chuck Jones stopped by this week and presented Jennifer Lang, events director of Discover Dixon, with a donation made possible through proceeds from this year's event, which was held Saturday, July 6. ☀️🌸

The Reagan Run 5K also supports Dixon Athletic Boosters, Discover Dixon, Dixon Park District, and Dixon YMCA! 🙌 Discover Dixon greatly appreciates your donation and is thankful for our long-standing partnership! 👏

Ralph Pifer will provide a free presentation at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 18 at Ruth Edwards Nature Center at Lowell Park, 2114 Lowell Park Road.

Pifer will explore the history, geography, wildlife and the people of Michigan's Western Upper Peninsula.

The Dixon Sister Cities Association will welcome our German visitors from July 19 to 28.

The public is invited to a small greeting reception upon arrival in Dixon (7:30 to 8 p.m. approx..) on Friday, July 19 with host families in the Community Room of the Public Safety Building, 220 S. Hennepin Ave. Park at Library.

There will also be a Meet and Greet Social at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 23 at The Next Picture Show, 113 W. First St., and an informal meet and greet at 5 p.m. Friday, July 26 at The Crystal Cork, 219 W. First St.
