Kidd Springs Recreation Center is located in Oak Cliff and was originally owned by Colonel James W. Kidd. Kidd Springs has a large spring fed lake where many Dallas residents learned to swim. The recreation center was built in 1965 and was recently renovated. The park is complete with a lake, pool, softball field and butterfly garden. The recreation center has a state of the art fitness center overlooking the lake, large and small meeting rooms and a gymnasium. The center offers programs for all ages beginning with preschool Mommy and me classes all the way to Senior activities.

Please come and meet Terry Allen, Ora Guy, the cooks, tasters and volunteers at the Kidd Springs Meet and Greet this Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 2-3 pm who will be on hand to obtain registration information, sell tickets, prepare for radio, television and interviews as well as meet the nonprofits and sponsors. This is a session for new and returning cooks as well as volunteers, tasters and sponsors including the US Virgin Islands, Dr. Pepper, NBC5, Maple Leaf, 411 Sports News, Miss Jessie and more.
