SAN DIEGO COUNTY TESTING UPDATE
There has been a nationwide shortage of materials used in testing for COVID-19, including in our County. Health Officials announced today that they need to re-prioritize testing appointments going forward. They will focus first on testing health care workers, first responders, older adults, those with infection symptoms, and those with pre-existing conditions. In response to shortages, the County has developed a partnership with local company, Helix , to process 2,000 more tests per day. If you think you need a test, the County recommends FIRST calling your Doctor. For those without a Doctor, please call 211. Several CVS locations in Oceanside are also providing testing.
