37th Annual Parade of Lights

On Sunday, December 10th, come enjoy one of Santa Barbara’s signature holiday events – the 37th Annual Parade of Lights. All event activities are FREE! Beginning at 3pm, families can visit a Winter Wonderland on the City Pier in Santa Barbara Harbor. There will be holiday elves, 12 tons of snow, goodie bags, and a visit by Santa himself!

Water Bill?

Apply today for the Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP), a federally funded program offering a one-time benefit of up to $15,000 per household for past-due or current bills. We encourage low-income households to apply for LIHWAP before the program ends.

Local Author Book Fair

Join SBPL and local authors this Saturday, December 2 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. for a book fair where readers can meet these authors from our vibrant local writing community, purchase their work, and support our local literary talent.

Sustainable Holidays

Open House

The City Sustainability & Resilience Department is spreading holiday cheer and bringing the community together with a "Sustainable Holidays Open House" on Friday, December 1. Enjoy free hot cocoa, holiday treats, DIY crafts, and make memories with Santa. Join us and learn how to reduce waste this Holiday Season!

Airport Rental Car Detour

Due to ongoing construction, passengers utilizing the Airport’s rental car services will encounter a new, temporary route to pick up and drop off vehicles beginning Wednesday, November 29. This path will take an extra 5 minutes to access the rental car lot from the Terminal on foot. Construction is expected to continue over the next few months. Please plan accordingly when considering the timing of your travel.
