The City of Camarillo has contracted for police services with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office since its incorporation in 1964. For over 50 years, the Camarillo Police Department has provided the highest degree of ethical and professional service to the Camarillo community, with the core mission being to safeguard lives and protect property.
Community Enrichment is a goal of the Camarillo City Council, both for the current Fiscal Year 21/22 and as part of the upcoming goals for Fiscal Year 22/23. One of the objectives of this goal is to enhance community safety through continued emphasis on support of law enforcement and expanded public awareness and educational programs.
