After careful consideration and discussion with City Manager Darren Gray, we have decided to reopen the city’s boat ramp and all city parks with select amenities starting Fri., May 1. Tennis courts will be the only sports courts to reopen at this time. Park hours will be from sunrise to sunset.

Honoring Officer Buckley

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Officer Conrad Buckley. He served the City of Clermont diligently for two years as a patrol officer. He tested positive for COVID-19 after attending a family emergency in Boston and succumbed to the illness on April 27.

The general public is welcome to attend the funeral service virtually via Facebook Live at 2 p.m. Sat., May 2 on the Clermont Police Department (FL) Facebook Page.
Master Plan Updates

  • Downtown Streetscape construction continues. Phase 1 brings improvements to West Avenue and Osceola Street with an estimated completion of this summer. Osceola Street has been brick paved between 8th Street West Avenue. West Avenue will be closed starting Mon., May 4 until ~June 22 from Minneola Street to Osceola Street to continue improving our streets.
  • Art Walk construction is progressing. The roof is going up to shade the southern portion of the Art Walk, which cuts through the heart of our downtown.
