The Fall Festival is great for children of all ages and their families. Invite your friends and neighbors!
When : Friday, October 25 from 4:00-7:00pm
Where: On the Lower Patio & Dining Room

Students are welcome to dress in fall colors or fall harvest attire on Friday, October 25 to school.

Donations Needed for
Fall Festival
  • CAKES for the cakewalk! Bring wrapped cakes to school on the morning of, October 25.
  • BAKED GOODS for our Bake Sale. Brings freshly baked good to school the morning of October 25.
  • CANDY (standard sizes: chocolate, sour patch kids, etc.). Please no small fun size candy. Drop off in the office the week of October 21.
  • RUMMAGE SALE ITEMS. Place items on the table in the hallway next to the office beginning on Monday, October 21. Smaller items please, no large furniture or clothing.
Fall Festival HELP WANTED:

  • Organize and set up rummage sale
  • Setting up Bake Sale
  • Selling items at the Bake Sale
  • Run a Game: Worm in the Pie Game Help + a few others
  • Misc. Other Fall Festival Help needed

Please contact the school office if you can assist with any of these things. Or sign up on the board l at the entrance to the school.

Fall Festival Ticket Information:
Discounted pre-sale tickets will be available until Friday morning, October 25.

You can also buy tickets at the door on Friday, October 25. They sell for $1 each on the night of Fall Festival.

Cash, check, and credit cards are accepted for tickets and at the Book Fair..

Tickets are needed for food, games, photos, and activities. The Book Fair is the only thing that doesn't take tickets.

Most games are 1 ticket. Specialty activities like cake walk, photo booth, etc. are more. Food items range from 1-7 tickets. 1 ticket for a drink- 7 tickets for a hamburger with fruit and veggie.
Advanced Choir Date Change Next Week
Advanced Choir will be meeting on Tuesday, October 29 from 12:40-1:15pm. Mrs. Williams will be on a field trip with 4th & 5th grade on Monday.

Upcoming:
Sock Drive
Friday, October 25, City Tree will kick - off a sock drive. As part of our Healthy Choices Week, we are encouraging our students to be givers . We will spend the next three weeks collecting socks which we will distribute through our Ladle Fellowship Ministry  to our homeless neighbors at Christmas time. The goal is to collect 300 pairs of socks. According to our Ladle Fellowship Director, the greatest need is mens XL white inexpensive socks.

Look for your classroom gift bag at the Book Fair. Teachers have pre-selected books that you may choose to buy for your child's classroom. A donation sticker will be added to each book recognizing your child's gift.
Everyone Benefits:
For every 2 books sold, City Tree receives a FREE book for our school library!

Middle School
New quarter begins next week!
This is a great opportunity to set new goals and renew efforts!
November 4-15, Middle School Parent/Teacher Conferences:
Parents will receive report cards and testing results at our fall conferences as well as have a valuable conversation with one of your child's teachers. Click the link for your child’s grade below to visit the parent conference sign-up sheets. For middle school students who are not on academic or citizenship probation, conferences are held with the following teachers:

Conferencing teachers will distribute report cards, be prepared to give an overview on the first quarter's academic and citizenship performance, and discuss recent MAP testing and goals. Parents are also welcome to contact a teacher who is not the homeroom teacher to discuss specific subject matter questions or concerns.

It is very important that all parents sign up and attend a conference time.
November 5: Christian Youth Theater Performance
Tuesday, November 5, Highlights from "Coco" Theater Arts Production:
Join us at Tuesday, November 5 for the Middle School theater arts production, highlights from "Coco"!
  • Admission is free! Show begins at 4:00pm
  • Doors to the chapel open at approximately 3:45pm. Please do not arrive prior to 3:45pm as students will still be rehearsing.
  • Rehearsal will begin at 2:05pm and continue until doors open.
  • Friends and family welcome!
  • All students must stay until the performance is finished.
This is the culmination of a wonderful student effort during the first quarter. We look forward to an exciting performance.

Preschoolers and K-5, lovingly known as "Pizza Church": Come together for a Bible lesson, dinner and activities.

We gather for dinner (potluck) with pizza available for kids.
