Main Street Bollards Completed
The removable bollards have been installed curb-to-curb on Main Street just north of Fire Station #1’s driveway and just south of the southerly crosswalk at Holly Avenue, and will better protecting any patrons attending the Farmer’s Market. These locations for the newly removable bollards will not conflict with an emergency vehicle entering or exiting the Fire Station during Farmer’s Market hours. The new bollards will start operating in the next few weeks.
Solid Waste Collections and Disposal Services

Fact Sheet
The El Segundo City Council has proposed implementing a residential waste collection fee as early as February 1, 2019. The City is also procuring a new, regulatory-compliant municipal solid waste collection contract. The fee will be for the cost of the services and not exceed $20 per month per eligible dwelling in the City (single-family and two-unit properties), except for inflation adjustments in future years, if needed.
