CITY OF AZUSA MOURNS PASSING OF COUNCILMEMBER URIEL E. MACIAS
It is with deep sadness that the City of Azusa announces the sudden passing of Councilmember Uriel E. Macias. Mr. Macias was a dedicated public servant and former military veteran, having served our community in various capacities over the span of two decades. He will be dearly missed, and we extend our sincerest thoughts and prayers to the Macias family during this trying time. Rest in peace, Councilmember. 

DON'T FORGET TO TURN-IN YOUR VOTE BY MAIL BALLOTS
The California Gubernatorial Recall Election will take place on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Azusa residents can drop off their Vote By Mail ballots in front of the Azusa Library "Official Ballot Drop Box" or may vote In-Person starting September 4-September 13, 10 AM-7 PM and on Election Day September 14, 7 AM-8 PM, at Memorial Park-Gymnasium located at 320 N. Orange Avenue, Azusa.

Voters can track the mailing of their Vote by Mail ballot with Where’s My Ballot
CDBG GRANT HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM
The City Housing Rehabilitation Program offers grants of up to $ 12,000 to homes that qualify for eligible repairs. For more information, please call (626) 812-5298.
GET READY TO RECYCLE YOUR FOOD WASTE IN 2022
THIS MEANS AZUSA'S TRASH COLLECTION AND RECYCLING SERVICES WILL CHANGE IN 2022!

Food waste and other organic waste will be recycled starting 2022. The City and Athens Services are finalizing the details of the new collection and recycling services in September so all Azusa residents and businesses will soon be receiving important information about the new program. Note that this is a requirement for all cities in California, not just Azusa.
