Early Voting at City Hall through May 2
Early voting dates and times
  • April 28: Early voting by personal appearance from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • April 29 - 30: Early voting by personal appearance from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • May 1 - 2: Early voting by personal appearance from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • May 6: Election Day. Polls are open from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
All voting takes place at Burleson City Hall, 141 W. Renfro St.

Street repairs in Old Town

Public Works started street repairs on East Renfro Street this week.  The southern eastbound lane will be closed at Scott Street and B&G Boulevard during the repairs which are expected to last until Monday, May 1, weather permitting.

BRiCk's Open House
The BRiCk will be offering 10% off all upcoming summer activities. This is also the first day for Summer Fun Camp Registration. Each week's full payment is required to receive a 10% discount on that week. Excluding: memberships, rentals, special events, lifeguard classes, personal training and massages.
Hidden Creek Golf Course News 
Just in time for Mother's Day, Hidden Creek Golf Course has a new line of women's golf clothing. 

You can also book mom a round of golf and lunch or get her a gift certificate on Hidden Creek Golf Course's website
Shop for a Cause in Old Town
From 5 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 4 participating stores in Old Town will be donating 10% of all sales to Relay for Life.
Participating stores include Rebecca's Ranch, Gypsy Trunk and Fabulous Junk, The Market Emporium Gift Shops, The Cottage Market, Glitz Boutique (located inside Serendipity salon), Geek Out, Bricoleur Vintage Home, The Shops of Old Town, Accents of Burleson and Art Brucks - State Farm Agent (*$10 for each policy quoted).
Stop by after work or as an outing with friends to Shop for a Cause.

Pet of the Week
Meet Missy, a wonderful one-year-old retriever mix who is looking for her new forever home. Missy was living in an abandoned home for months, before she came to Burleson Animal Services. She is one sweet girl who is learning how to walk on a leash. 
Her adoption fee is $140 which includes spay, all of her shots, rabies certificate, microchip and heartworm test.
