Stay safe during the holidays
The holidays can be a dangerous time, here are some tips from the Burleson Fire Department.
Paw-It-Forward Program at Animal Shelter
Are you trying to find a gift for the animal lover in your life? Looking for a way to celebrate a beloved pet or maybe just feel like helping a pet find a home?

The Paw It Forward Program at the Burleson Animal Shelter allows donors to pay for the adoption fee of a pet in the shelter. Adopters of the pet wouldn't find out their new best friend was free until they get ready to pay for the adoption.

The $140 adoption donation will cover all of the pet's shots, neuter or spay, heart worm test and microchipping. Donors will receive a photo of the pet their donation supported. Donations can be made at the Burleson Animal Shelter or via their  PayPal account.
Pet of the Week - Arabella
Arabella is a sweet loving girl who can purr all day and loves everyone she meets. She had kittens at the shelter and they have all been adopted so now it is time for her to find her forever home. Her adoption fee is only $55.
