City News
City phone system will be temporarily unavailable for one hour  
All of the city's non-emergency numbers will be temporarily unavailable from 10 - 11 a.m. Friday, March 31 as the city makes the transition from copper PRI (Primary Rate Interface)  lines to fiber. The city's phone provider, AT&T, is in the process of phasing out the copper PRI  service (which the city currently uses) and moving all of their clients to fiber backbones for VoIP  (Voice over Internet Protocol) services.

Additionally , from 10 - 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 5 all of the non-emergency numbers for police administration, Municipal Service Center and Fire Station 3 will be unavailable.

911 calls will not be affected. If you need to reach the city during this time you can email us, visit the city's website or message us on the city's FacebookTwitter or Instagram account.  
Make sure you are registered to vote in city's upcoming election 
April 6 is the last day to register to vote to be eligible to cast your ballot in the May 6 local election. 

Early voting starts April 24 at Burleson City Hall. 

What's happening this weekend? 
March 24 - Art Walk in Old Town 
Old Town will look a little different the evening of Friday, March 24 from 5 - 8 p.m. Various local artists will be displaying their art and wares for the public to enjoy while walking from shop to shop or waiting on a table for dinner.

Mayor's Youth Council Nomination ends soon 
Last day to nominate a youth is March 31
Be the link between the youth of Burleson and the Burleson City Council. Mayor's Youth Council is currently accepting nominations until March 31. A student must be nominated by an adult.
Pet of the Week
Meet Romeo, the smiling dog! Romeo is a five-year-old Great Dane mix and he found his way in the shelter after his owner passed away . He is a bit scared at the shelter but he loves playing with his squeaky toys. He is such a good boy, come meet him today. His adoption fee is $65.
