Election Day set for May 6
Voters will have one last opportunity to cast a ballot in local elections during Election Day, Saturday, May 6. Polls will open at 7 a.m. and remain open until 7 p.m. All voting takes place at in the Council Chambers at Burleson City Hall, 141 W. Renfro St.

Events happening this weekend
City-wide trash clean up 

Come help us Keep Burleson Beautiful this Saturday, May 6. Groups will meet at Warren Park and get supplies then head off and pick up trash around town. Sign up your group or family today. 

*Event was rescheduled from April 29 to May 6.

Fire hosts Junior Fire Academy
Sign your child up today! 

What does it really take to be a firefighter? Your future fifth grader can discover that this summer when the Burleson Fire Department hosts four free one-day Junior Fire Academy sessions in 2017. The deadline to apply is June 2. 

Dates available are:
  • Wednesday, June 7, 14, 21 or 28
  • Academy runs from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. 
Each academy is limited to 12 students.

Ministers & Officers for a Greater Burleson
The Ministers & Officers for a Greater Burleson partnership is comprised of local clergy, staff or designated members appointed by their faith-based community. 

The goals of this partnership is to build relationships with the city's faith-based community, to serve as a community resource, to raise educational awareness and to work together to solve community issues.

If you would like to get your faith-based organization involved contact Community Resource Officer, Travis Brown.
