“I hate computers!” “I just can’t do it and have a mental block!” “I don’t have a smart phone or computer!” Like many, we have either said those words or thought them.
Although we have technology, for some it’s a barrier. How do we connect in a
world speeding by us? There is good news here!
Learn how to use a portal for appointments with your doctor, Zoom with family and friends virtually, and learn how to use special apps that allow us to explore our world.
There are resources right here in Camarillo to help you understand how technology works and it’s FREE!
The Camarillo Health Care District has two exciting programs to help you connect: The Digital Bridge and a Zoom Room.
If you already have a computer or smart phone but need help, The Digital Bridge will provide one-on-one, step-by-step help with a “real human!”
Staff will assist you with questions concerning devices, setting up portals for doctor visits and more. They will help you understand how to use services like Zoom, Facetime and YouTube.
But wait… What if you don’t have a computer or smart phone? Well, you can utilize and conduct virtual services in the Zoom Room.
The Zoom Room is a safe, private technology room right here in Camarillo, located at the Camarillo Health Care District. You can schedule a time to use the room and staff will set you up completely.
