Development & Growth Roundtable

November 27, 2024

The Development & Growth Update Roundtable offered an opportunity to connect with key City of Camrose staff involved in the city's development and planning initiatives.


Attendees heard updates from city departments on topics ranging from property assessments and planning to safety codes and inspections.


The event offered a chance to meet the behind-the-scenes staff, gain insights into major ongoing and upcoming projects, and ask questions to help navigate the city’s development processes.



Fascination Street


Owners Kaley Dylan & Andrew Dykun opened a new clothing retail store downtown at 5013 50 Street. Mayor Stasko, Councillors Banack, and Rosland joined them to celebrate the grand opening of this fantastic new store!

Quality Donair


Owner Amar Sinh and his staff were joined by Mayor Stasko, Councillors Francoeur, and Rosland for a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Quality Donairs can be found at 6217 48 Avenue.

Zoe's Western Filipino Cuisine


Owners Ringgo and Daisy celebrated the grand opening of their new restaurant at

3911 48 Avenue (inside Le Chateau Hotel). Mayor Stasko, Counsillors Rosland, and Hoveland joined restaurant staff to cut the ribbon.

5 Rivers Convenience Store & Grocery Store


Joginder Kaur and family celebrated their grand opening with Mayor Stasko, Councillors Hoveland, Rosland, and Murphy. The store is located at 6008B 48 Ave, just west of A&W.

MagicStar Indoor Playground


Co-owners Jackie Liang and Yikai Tseng invited Mayor Stasko to celebrate the grand re-opening of their new downtown location at 5065 50 Street.

Jolly Dreamers Daycare


Owners Noel and JD Ledesma celebrated their grand opening with Mayor Stasko, Councillors Rosland, and Murphy. They are excited to welcome families to their new daycare at 4901-50 Avenue.
