Endurablend polymer cement surfacing was chosen by the City of Chattanooga for a Traffic Calming project on Frazier Avenue that included a 2-way dedicated bike lane along with traffic calming "Narrowing" of the roadway to help in reducing speeds and to create a visual to the driver to expect bicycle's and pedestrian's. A Hexagon pattern was chosen to provide better friction and to minimize rainwater on the surface.

Endurablend is an "Ultra-Thin" (1/16" to 1/8") Polymer Concrete Micro-Overlay that is spray applied to your existing asphalt or concrete pavement surface. Stencils can be used to create patterns for decorative or safety applications. Endurablend is designed to provide you with an extremely durable colored surface treatment that will preserve and protect the surface from salts, de-icing materials, oils and most chemicals. Endurablend is basically maintenance free and has an expected life span of 10 plus years under heavy traffic conditions.
