Community Invited to Chino Rancho Park’s Grand Opening Ceremony on March 29

CHINO, CA (February 27, 2025) -- The City of Chino invites the community to celebrate the grand opening of Chino Rancho Park, the City’s newest park, on Saturday, March 29, at 9 a.m.

Chino Rancho Park, located at 5325 Phillips Boulevard, features an all-inclusive shaded playground, the community’s first pickleball courts, outdoor exercise equipment, picnic areas, and a theme that pays tribute to Chino’s rich agricultural roots. The park’s monument sign at Central Avenue and Phillips Boulevard will offer a warm welcome into the City of Chino.

“I am thrilled to announce the grand opening of Chino Rancho Park, a beautiful space designed to bring our neighbors together and honor Chino’s heritage,” said Chino Mayor Eunice Ulloa. “The creation of this park represents our continued commitment to providing vibrant and inclusive open spaces for residents and visitors of all ages. I encourage you to join us as we officially welcome Chino Rancho Park to our community.”

Chino Rancho Park’s grand opening event will feature exciting pickleball demonstrations, community outreach booths, and free exercise training courtesy of Healthy Chino.

Community members wishing to attend the celebration are encouraged to park at Victory Outreach Church, located at 11436 Central Avenue. A free shuttle service will be provided to take visitors to the event.

Chino Rancho Park was made possible through $2.8 million grant from the Prop 68 Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization Program from the State of California Department of Parks and Recreation, $1 million of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds from San Bernardino County Supervisor Curt Hagman, and $1.6 million from the City’s park fund.
