“Public art has always been a vital component of a thriving city. It not only makes our city beautiful, but it also brings people together and promotes civic pride,” said Council Member Christopher Flores. “Congratulations once again to the winners of the Community Art Box Program!"

The Community Art Box Program has three goals: promoting art within Chino, beautifying the community, and highlighting local history. The City selected the pieces of art that best reflected four categories: Chino History, Chino Landscapes and Nature, Chino Living, and Chino Youth.

The first four reimagined utility boxes were unveiled during a special ceremony at Chino City Hall in July 2024. These boxes, located at City Hall, Central Avenue and C Street, and Central Avenue and Riverside Drive, feature beautiful designs by winning artists from the 2024 Chino Days art competition.
