DairyAire 5k and Fun Run Pays Tribute to 25 Years of the Chino Youth Museum

CHINO, CA (March 5, 2025) -- On a beautiful Chino morning, 429 runners of all ages sprinted around Ruben S. Ayala Park during the 15th annual DairyAire 5k and Fun Run on Saturday, March 1.

This year’s theme was “Run for Cake,” which honored the 25th anniversary of the Chino Youth Museum. The event kicked off bright and early with the kids' fun run beginning at 8 a.m., followed by the 5k at 8:15 a.m. The course made its way around Chino’s largest park, offering a scenic route for participants of all ages.

The overall men's winner was Adam Espinoza, and the overall women's winner was Patricia Koch.

“This year’s DairyAire 5K and Fun Run once again highlighted our community’s incredible spirit while serving as a wonderful celebration of 25 years of the Chino Youth Museum,” said Chino Mayor Eunice Ulloa. “A heartfelt thank you to the participants, City staff, volunteers, and the Chino Youth Museum board for making this event so special, and congratulations to the winners!”

The DairyAire is the final leg of the City of Chino’s Triple Crown, which includes the YMCA’s Reindeer Romp in December and the Chino Police Officer Association’s Run for Russ in February. Approximately 143 participants ran all three races and received a special Triple Crown Medallion for their efforts.

The DairyAire is the largest fundraiser for the Chino Youth Museum. Every dollar raised will go toward the Youth Museum’s exceptional and high-quality programming for children and families across the Chino Valley.
