Chino Celebrates Community During Volunteer Recognition Dinner on April 16

CHINO, CA (April 21, 2025) -- Community members of all ages and backgrounds were celebrated for giving back to their hometown during the annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner on Wednesday, April 16, at the Chaffey College Chino Community Center.

The City of Chino marked National Volunteer Month by recognizing the hundreds of everyday community members who have a guiding hand in ensuring Chino continues to be a great place to call home.

The numbers tell the story: throughout the past year, the City of Chino hosted 448 volunteers who collectively dedicated over 18,000 hours of service to the community, a service valued at over $548,000. "Chino has been continually blessed to have residents of all ages and backgrounds take time out of their day to help make our community a better place.
