CHINO, CA (June 26, 2025) -- The City of Chino wishes to inform its residents and visitors that in observance of Independence Day, City Hall and most City facilities will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2025. Normal operations will resume on Monday, July 7, 2025.
On July 4, 2025, the following facilities will be closed:
- City Hall
- Police Department Lobby
- Neighborhood Activity Center
- Carolyn Owens Community Center
- Preserve Community Center
Ayala Park Batting Cages: For those looking to enjoy outdoor activities, the Ayala Park Batting Cages will remain open during normal business hours, 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. We invite you to take advantage of this facility during the holiday period.
Senior Center: The Senior Center will be open from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Please note that classes will not take place, and lunch will not be served.
Trash Service: Please note that the holiday closure will affect trash service. Residents should place their bins on their street a day after their regularly scheduled pickup date. Street sweeping schedules will be unaffected.
Please note that the sale and use of illegal fireworks are strictly prohibited within the City of Chino and will result in fines of up to $1,000. The sale and use of "safe and sane" fireworks is only permitted within the City from Tuesday, July 1, at noon through Friday, July 4, at 9:00 p.m. For more information, visit cityofchino.org/fireworks.
