City of Chino Accepting Planning Commission Applications

CHINO, CA (October 24, 2025) -- Want to make a difference in your community? The City of Chino is currently accepting applications from interested residents to serve on the Planning Commission to fill three four-year positions serving through January 1, 2030, and one unscheduled vacancy for a term ending January 1, 2028.

 

The Planning Commission reviews and approves all new development applications to ensure consistency with City standards and policies and provides advice and guidance to the City Council on planning, land use, and development issues.

  

All members of the Planning Commission are appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the Chino City Council.

 

To apply for a Planning Commission position, applicants must be residents of the City of Chino. Applications will be accepted from Friday, October 24, 2025, until Friday, November 14, 2025, at 5:30 p.m.

 

Planning Commission applications and more information are available at cityofchino.org/planningcommission. Interested individuals are encouraged to submit completed applications to the City Clerk's office at 13220 Central Avenue, Chino, CA 91710 or by email to cityclerk@cityofchino.org.

 

Planning Commission meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Chino City Hall, 13220 Central Avenue, Chino, CA 91710. Additional workshops are held as required.
