CHINO, CA (November 25, 2024) -- Approximately 500 Chino families received ingredients to create the perfect Thanksgiving dinner during the annual Thanksgiving Giveaway on Saturday, November 23, at the Chino Senior Center.  

Local businesses and residents united to provide meals for families in need, showcasing the power of community generosity during the holiday season. Thanks to their kind donations, each family received a complete holiday meal, including a turkey, green beans, corn, cranberry sauce, yams, chicken broth, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cornbread, and a handmade pie.   

"Everyone deserves to have a happy Thanksgiving, and these dinners will ensure that families throughout Chino can experience the warmth and joy of the holiday together at home," said Chino Mayor Eunice Ulloa. "The Thanksgiving Giveaway is a wonderful example of our community coming together to support families in need. I want to extend my gratitude to our community partners, including my colleagues Mayor Pro Tem Karen Comstock and Council Member Marc Lucio, who raised a considerable amount of money and made this event possible." 

The Thanksgiving Giveaway is a partnership between the City of Chino, All American Express Carwash, and Fraga Realty. The City of Chino extends its sincere gratitude to these organizations for their collaboration in this year’s annual Thanksgiving Giveaway and their dedication to the well-being of Chino residents.
