The City of Chino cordially invites families and friends to its annual Halloween Spooktacular event, and this year, the spookiness is soaring to new heights with an enchanting Hot Air Balloon Glow! The Halloween festivities will take place on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Ruben S. Ayala Park, Fields 11, 12, and 13, located at 14225 Central Avenue, Chino, CA 91710. 

As evening descends, prepare to be mesmerized by the enchanting Hot Air Balloon Glow, where a fleet of brilliantly illuminated balloons will be stationed, creating a breathtaking spectacle. Wander among the vibrant giants and indulge in a unique trick-or-treat experience, with each balloon offering delightful surprises. 

This year's event promises a spooktacular time for attendees of all ages, featuring a wide array of activities:

• Candy 
• Giveaways 
• Costume Contest 
• Carnival Rides 
• Live Pumpkin Carving 
• Food Vendors 
• Trunk-or-Treat 
• Spooky Entertainment and Guest Appearances 

Carnival Wristband Sales:  

Attendees can make their Halloween Spooktacular even more spectacular by purchasing carnival wristbands in advance. These wristbands grant access to all the Halloween Spooktacular rides, valid only on October 31, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wristbands can be picked up at the Carolyn Owens Community Center (13201 Central Ave) from October 2 to October 30. In-person wristband sales will conclude on October 30, at 7:59 p.m. 

Online sales (www.cityofchino.org/halloween) are available for a reduced price, ending on October 30 at 11:59 p.m. Wristbands purchased online must be picked up at the Carolyn Owens Community Center prior to the event. Day-of event sales will be available from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with credit card payments only. Please note that lost or stolen wristbands cannot be replaced. 

Wristband Fees: 

• In-Person Sales: $12 (no tax) 
• Online Sales: $10 
• Day-Of Sales (credit card only): $12
