The City of Chino is committed to ensuring residents are well-informed about important local issues, including the upcoming tax measure, known as Measure V. We invite all community members to attend one of two detailed educational presentations about this significant initiative and what it means for the future of Chino. 

Educational Presentation Schedule: 

• January 8, at the Chino Police Station (5450 Guardian Way) at 6:00 p.m. 
• January 30, at the Preserve Community Center (15800 Main St) at 6:00 p.m.

These educational presentations are a prime opportunity for residents to learn about Measure V, engage with City officials, ask questions, and voice their opinions. We encourage everyone to participate and take an active role in understanding this measure. 

Can't Make the Presentations? Stop by "City Hall on the Move": 

For those unable to attend the formal presentations, we offer an alternative opportunity to stay informed. Consider stopping by one of the upcoming "City Hall on the Move" events, which provide a more casual setting to discuss City initiatives, including Measure V: 

• January 6: Stater Bros., 6989 Schaefer Ave, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. 
• January 13: Albertsons, 12013 Central Ave, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.  
• January 20: Stater Bros., 4721 Riverside Dr, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.  

"City Hall on the Move" is a flexible, drop-in event that allows residents to engage in brief, informative discussions with City officials, making it easier for everyone to stay informed, regardless of their schedule. 

About Measure V: 

The City Council unanimously approved placing Measure V on the March 5, 2024 ballot. Chino voters can consider enacting a local sales tax of 1%. If voters approve Measure V, it is expected to generate approximately $28 million each year in dedicated, and locally controlled funds that will protect essential City services.
