City offices closed Friday, Feb. 4
City of Cleburne offices are closed Friday, Feb. 4, due to continued winter storm conditions.

City staff continues to monitor and work through the winter storm event.

Public Works crews have been treating roadways, with a focus on key roads and intersections, as of Wednesday night. The public is encouraged to avoid any unnecessary travel due to ice on the roads.

Cleburne Sanitation has paused curbside pickup due to icy roads. Residents should leave trash out as crews will run any missed routes as soon as weather conditions allow. The Transfer Station is closed on the same schedule as other city offices.

You're invited to the Cleburne Railroad Museum's grand opening on Feb. 11!

The festivities begin at noon as we open the facility with the inaugural running of the model trains.

Johnson County hosting free COVID-19 drive-thru testing
Johnson County Emergency Management is hosting a free rapid COVID-19 drive-thru testing site at the Cleburne Conference Center, 1501 W. Henderson. The center is closed Feb. 4 due to weather.

The center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Thursday, Friday, and Monday through March 28. No appointment is necessary.

Get your team together for Parks & Recreation softball this spring
Cleburne Parks & Recreation will host the spring 2022 season of adult softball leagues this March. Three leagues are open for different interests including Monday Coed Recreational, Tuesday Men's Recreational, and Tuesday Men's Competitive.

Registration is open until Feb. 21 with games starting March 1.
