Master Plan Updates

The City of Clermont is delivering on its promises with its award-winning Master Plan. We share frequent updates at , but here are some highlights:

  • Downtown Streetscape construction continues. Phase 1 will bring improvements to West Avenue and Osceola Street with an estimated completion of this summer. Check out the construction schedule and maps here. A small portion of the South Lake Trail is temporarily closed for construction between 7th & 8th streets until Feb. 20. All businesses remain open during construction. The 7th Street portion of Legacy Loop trail bypass is finished.

  • The Art Walk's adjacent commercial building has broken ground. The Art Walk is estimated to be completed by the end of 2020; the brick walkway will connect Montrose Street to Minneola Avenue and will feature a covered portion and a grassy, open-air space for vendor tents.

  • The Boat Ramp is complete and open for use at 140 East Ave., just east of Waterfront Park. Here's a video recap of the Jan. 10 ribbon cutting. The new, larger boat ramp offers four ramps, 102 parking spots and 10 mooring slips, as well as new restrooms.

  • City Limit Gateway Features are completed on State Road 50 at its intersections with Lake Boulevard to the east and with 12th Street to the west.

  • The Clermont Wi-Fi Trail is live in limited locations along the South Lake Trail.

  • Victory Pointe, the first major project completed, is successfully being utilized as an event site, park and stormwater treatment facility. It will be expanded to maximize its potential now that the boat ramp has been moved. Here's why it won 2019 Best Small Project.
