You're Invited to Pups in the Park

Bring your furry friends to a free new event from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Sat., June 12 at Lake Hiawatha Preserve. Enjoy "puppuccinos" with a cop, a 1-mile walk, a dog swimsuit competition and an "ulti-mutt" Frisbee contest.

Save the Date for Red, White & Boom

Youth Council Wins Statewide Contest

Clermont Youth Council's Homeless Care Pack project won the Florida League of Cities' 2021 Municipal Youth Council Community Service Contest.
Youth Council Seniors Recognized

Clermont Chosen for Olympic Swimming Qualifier

The Union Americana de Natacion chose Clermont's National Training Center for its Tokyo Olympics swimming qualifier with over 300 swimmers from 60 countries.
Olympus Selects Project and Design Manager

Olympus Sports and Entertainment Group selected Clermont-based Fetterhoff Company, Inc. to provide project and design management services. Olympus plans to enter the infrastructure phase this summer.
Master Plan Streetscape Phase 2 Continues

Construction on Minneola Avenue between 7th and 8th Streets has been completed. The next segment underway is 8th Street between Montrose Street and Minneola Avenue. Businesses remain open and accessible.

Umbrella Art Project Wraps Up

Rise Clermont's Umbrella Art Project culminated at the Clermont Historic Village. Local businesses displayed artists' painted umbrellas throughout the month.
City Welcomes New Businesses

The City of Clermont welcomed Twisted Sugar downtown. The city recently joined the South Lake Chamber of Commerce in congratulating several new businesses.
Keep Cool in the Water

Champions Splash Park is open daily through Aug. 8. The pool at the Clermont Arts and Recreation Center will be open daily June 7 through Aug. 6.
Participate in Recreation Programs

The Clermont Arts and Recreation Center has program options for everyone! The Windermere Basketball Academy for youth starts June 18. Futsal Training Indoor Soccer for ages 11-17 registration is open. Summer camps start in late June.
