Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, and four (4) years of related work experience. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted on a year for year basis. The total qualifying equivalent combination is eight (8) years.

Champions at Work: Bodega Provisions and The Tamale Company

The Duncanville Community and Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC) is proud to continue our Champions at Work series, highlighting local businesses that are creating opportunity and growth in our community.

From new building permits to park improvements and library events, our city teams have been busy keeping Duncanville moving forward! Crews are preparing for upcoming LED installations, the Fire Department responded to 158 calls, and the Police Department celebrated a spooktacular Boo with the Blue event.

In the interest of protecting Republic Services employees from the extreme hot weather, you may experience delays in the regular household garbage collection. Please set your household trash out on your normal collection day, and it will be collected by 7:00 PM.

REMINDER: Place trash, recycling, brush, and bulk debris at the curb/alley no earlier than 12:01 AM and no later than 7:00 AM on scheduled collection days.


No construction materials will be picked up. These items must be disposed of by the contractor or taken to Skyline Landfill for a $35 fee.
