Requires an Associate’s Degree and two (2) years of related work experience. Four (4) or more years of related work experience and/or applicable certifications can be substituted for the required education requirement.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSE, AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Requires a valid driver’s license. Must be able to pass a CJIS background check.

SENIOR NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES OFFICER
STARTING SALARY RANGE $53,043 - $76,912
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree or working towards an Associate (Bachelor preferred) with major coursework in public administration, environmental planning, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum Four (4) years of municipal code enforcement or environmental planning experience.
- Education and/or experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. The total qualifying years of education/experience is nine (9) years.

The City of Duncanville operates on a fiscal year that begins October 1 and ends September 30 of each year. The July 25, 2024, Budget Town Hall Meeting will provide insight into the city’s annual budget and gather input on the proposed Fiscal Year 2024-2025 budget.
Topics include an overview of the City’s budget process and what to expect in the next year.
Residents, business owners, and stakeholders are invited to attend and provide input on what the City’s budget priorities should be for the upcoming fiscal year.

No construction materials will be picked up. These items must be disposed of by the contractor or taken to Skyline Landfill for a $35 fee.
