Traffic Advisory
The following projects will have traffic impacts starting the evening of Friday, March 14:
DUNCANVILLE - Weather permitting, all lanes of eastbound I-20 will be closed and detoured to the frontage roads from near the Duncanville Road/North Main Street exit (MM 462) and Cockrell Hill Road from 10 p.m. Friday, March 14 to 5 a.m. Saturday, March 15 as part of an ongoing corridor improvement project. Drivers can expect delays in the corridor and should be alert to slower traffic. The overall project is expected to complete in early 2025, weather permitting.
| | To best prepare Police, Fire, and 911 Dispatch personnel to respond to active shooter/active attacker events, the cities of Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, and Lancaster joined forces for a large full-scale training exercise. Voter registration cards may be obtained online and at the Duncanville Public Library. The deadline to register to vote in the May election is April 3, 2025. For more information regarding voter registration, residents may contact the Dallas County Elections Department at (469) 627-VOTE (8683).
Early voting will be conducted Tuesday, April 22, 2025, through Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the Duncanville Library Conference Rooms at 201 James Collins Blvd., Duncanville, TX 75116.
