This week’s update includes new LED installation, ongoing inspections, and continued focus on rental safety. Public safety teams supported Holiday Lights in the Park, advanced training efforts, and celebrated Fire Department promotions, while Parks, Library, Economic Development, and Public Works continued seasonal projects and citywide services.

Santa Cop toy drive is underway!

Donation boxes (pictured above) have been placed at multiple locations around the city (see list below) as we prepare to collect toys for our annual Santa Cop program, helping bring holiday joy to local children and families in need. Boxes placed at:

  • Police Station lobby
  • City Hall lobby
  • Chamber of Commerce lobby
  • Duncanville Senior Center
  • Inwood Bank
  • Champions Cove

Drop off a new, unwrapped toy and help make this season brighter for those who need it most! Also, if you would like to have a box placed at your business or church, or make a monetary donation, please reach out to Officer Arias at marias@duncanvillepd.com or at (972) 780-5027.

Let's come together as the wonderful community that we are, to make this the best Christmas ever for deserving families!
