PUBLIC NOTICE - City of Duncanville Stream Condition Assessment
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City of Duncanville will be conducting a stream condition assessment on November 18, 2025, and November 19, 2025 starting at approximately 6:30 AM, as part of our Drainage Master Plan/Stream Condition Assessment.
The area covered on November 18th will be Mauk Branch from E. Wheatland Rd to E Danieldale Rd. The area covered on November 19th will be Ten Mile Creek from S Main St to East City Limits. The fieldwork involves walking in and along the stream channel. Minimal disruption is expected, and all personnel will carry official identification. Santa Cop toy drive is underway!
Donation boxes (pictured above) have been placed at multiple locations around the city (see list below) as we prepare to collect toys for our annual Santa Cop program, helping bring holiday joy to local children and families in need. Boxes placed at:
- Police Station lobby
- City Hall lobby
- Chamber of Commerce lobby
- Duncanville Senior Center
- Inwood Bank
- Champions Cove
Drop off a new, unwrapped toy and help make this season brighter for those who need it most! Also, if you would like to have a box placed at your business or church, or make a monetary donation, please reach out to Officer Arias at marias@duncanvillepd.com or at (972) 780-5027.

| | In the interest of protecting Republic Services employees from the extreme hot weather, you may experience delays in the regular household garbage collection. Please set your household trash out on your normal collection day, and it will be collected by 7:00 PM. | |
REMINDER: Place trash, recycling, brush, and bulk debris at the curb/alley no earlier than 12:01 AM and no later than 7:00 AM on scheduled collection days.
No construction materials will be picked up. These items must be disposed of by the contractor or taken to Skyline Landfill for a $35 fee.
