IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR DUNCANVILLE WATER UTILITY CUSTOMERS


On October 1, 2025, the City of Duncanville water utility department will be transitioning to a new payment processor. As part of this update, customers who use recurring payments will need to re-enter their credit card information on or after Wednesday, October 1, 2025, once the change is complete.


These changes will not impact customers who pay by bank draft (ACH), pay by phone, pay by mail, or pay in person.


We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to enhance your payment experience.

In response to community feedback, the City of Duncanville will launch a Neighborhood Sweep initiative in the Silver Creek Estates & Whispering Hills subdivisions beginning September 30th. This initiative will focus on addressing specific neighborhood concerns, including—but not limited to—traffic and criminal law violations, illegal parking, illegal dumping, high grass, damaged fences, trash and debris, parking in yards, outside storage, junk vehicles, and low-hanging tree limbs.



Our goal is to work together to enhance the safety, cleanliness, and livability of your neighborhood for all residents. We are committed to carrying out this effort fairly, respectfully, and in partnership with the community.

This week in Duncanville: city staff completed inspections, responded to 146 fire calls, supported Hispanic Heritage Fest, and kept up with street and utility improvements. The Library, Parks, and Fieldhouse hosted programs for all ages. Read the full weekly update to read about this and more!

In the interest of protecting Republic Services employees from the extreme hot weather, you may experience delays in the regular household garbage collection. Please set your household trash out on your normal collection day, and it will be collected by 7:00 PM.

REMINDER: Place trash, recycling, brush, and bulk debris at the curb/alley no earlier than 12:01 AM and no later than 7:00 AM on scheduled collection days.


No construction materials will be picked up. These items must be disposed of by the contractor or taken to Skyline Landfill for a $35 fee.
