Fireworks Rescheduled
So far Mother Nature hasn't been cooperating with our plans for the annual Heritage Day fireworks!
The Mayor's Office of Special Events has rescheduled them once again for next Saturday 7/29 at 9:30 pm.
This year they will be launched from Upper Hackett Park, the highest point in the city, to allow more city residents to view them.

July 21 U.S. Soccer Watch Party & Festivities in Centre Square | |
To celebrate and support the U.S. Women’s National Team in their bid for an historic three-peat, the Crayola Experience and Greater Easton Development Partnership are throwing an outdoor FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ watch party at 9 p.m. this Friday, July 21 with colorful pre-game activities starting at 6 p.m. The free, family-friendly event will be held rain or shine in Centre Square.
From 6-9 p.m. families can enjoy music, food from local vendors, games, and soccer-themed crafts, activities, and photo ops. Then stay to view the U.S. vs Vietnam match on a large outdoor video screen starting at 9 p.m. The Easton event is part of a national initiative, the Art of Soccer, launched through a collaboration between Crayola, FOX Sports, and U.S. Soccer to celebrate soccer—a game of self-expression and creative possibilities.

Free trolley rides around town on Fridays & Saturdays
Residents and visitors to the City of Easton are invited to hop on the city trolley on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons and evenings. It's a convenient way to get around one of our neighborhoods or to visit the downtown business district. And best of all, it's FREE!
Loop 1 takes you from downtown to College Hill and West Ward. Loop 2 takes you from downtown to South Side.The full two-loop circuit takes approximately 40-45 minutes depending on traffic. Hours of operation are Fridays 4 -10 pm and Saturdays 2-10 pm.
Hop on or off at any of the STOP locations listed in the graphic/pinned on the map.
The trolley has a built-in lift for people using wheelchairs and scooters to get onboard.

Free Movies in the Park program
If you missed this week's first Movies in the Park event, there are two more coming up: next Monday 7/24 at The Neighborhood Center on South Side, and the following Monday 7/31 at Nevin Park on College Hill. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on. Free!

Deadline extended for BRACE Grant Program | |

City business owners now have more time to apply for a supportive grant through the city's BRACE Program with Greater Easton Development Partnership to help with their ongoing recovery from the impacts of the pandemic.
The new application deadline is Monday, July 31.

Summer Pop-up & Play Program at 8 city parks/pools | |
Did you now that the annual Pop-up & Play Program by the City and the Easton YMCA has 8 locations this year where kids can have hands-on fun and get free meals?
They are:
- Paxinosa Elementary School Playground (Mon., Wed., & Fri.)
- Centennial Park (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
- North Union St. - Easton Housing Authority (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
- March Elementary School (Tuesdays & Thursdays only)
- Easton Neighborhood Center (Mon., Wed., & Fri.)
- Heil Pool (Monday - Friday)
- Eddyside Pool (Monday - Friday)

August Cruise Night in Centre Square | |
The next Easton Cruise Nigh in Centre Square is coming up the third Saturday in August. Classic cars arriving prior to 6 pm will be able to park in reserved spaces. After 6 pm, all reserved spaces will become available to the general public if not already parked in. We encourage arriving early if you plan to display your classic car as part of the event.
Centre Square will be closed to vehicular traffic during the event.
NOTE: the canceled July event will be rescheduled for the third Saturday of September.

Co-Ed Summer Basketball Camp
Sign up your child to participate in next month's City of Easton Co-ed Basketball Camp at Lafayette College. Three days of instruction from college players and coaches. Campers enjoy free snacks and get a free basketball to take home. Ages 8-13.
Free for City residents; $45 for non-residents.
All campers must be pre-registered online.
