Across Our Community

Hello Everett,
Fall is here, bringing with it crisp air, colorful leaves and some of our most exciting traditions. October is always a meaningful time when we come together to celebrate our community and enjoy everything the season has to offer.
This month, we'll kick things off with ¡Estamos Aqui!, an art exhibit and performance series honoring Latino and Hispanic Heritage Month. Then the spirit of friendly competition takes center stage at the Unity Cup in Glendale Park, where young athletes from across the city will hit the field for an exciting soccer tournament with the help of the New England Revolution. Soon after, we'll celebrate light, culture and togetherness at Everett's very first Diwali Festival at Rivergreen Park. And of course, we’ll wrap up the month with our annual Halloween Bash, a family-favorite filled with costumes, treats and spooky fun.
Fall also means football, and this year's Homecoming on Saturday, October 25th, will be extra special. We’ll dedicate the new field at Veterans Memorial Stadium to Coach John DiBiaso Jr. before cheering on the Crimson Tide in their big game against Lynn English. Leading up to kickoff, there will be plenty of activities for all ages at our pregame tailgate, making this a true community celebration.
October is a season of connection through cultural festivals, sports or simply enjoying the beautiful fall weather. I hope to see you at these events as we celebrate all that makes Everett such a vibrant and welcoming place to call home.
As always, my office is here to help. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for being part of our community.
