Best Week Ever

The City of Excelsior Springs is having the best week ever after landing a $21.5 million dollar RAISE grant from the federal government. Not only will this make safer paths to school, it will transform the community's infrastructure improving conditions for all citizens.

Wild Bunch will have a second Grand Opening after a faulty roof forced them to close. On August 18th, the doors will open from 10am-7pm at 1218 N Jesse James Road. They have over 200 vendor spaces and plan to have food trucks at the opening event. Their regular hours will be Tues-Sun from 10am-6pm

Word on the Street

On Sept 2nd 10% of all purchases at the local Sonic will go to help a family that lost a 6 yr old this week

On Thursday it was announced that Treehouse Foods will sell a significant portion of its meal preparation business to European investment firm, Investindustrial for $950 Million. Treehouse is selling/divesting itself of 14 facilities across the United States, including the facility here in Excelsior Springs.
