A new regional platform to keep people housed
Stay Housed Bay Area is the first regional platform of its kind—carefully curated with up-to-date, relevant information in plain language in both English and Spanish. Until now, these resources were often hard for people to find—and siloed by city or county when they are available at all. Stay Housed Bay Area makes it easy for anyone in the Bay Area to find available resources near them. The site also makes it possible to do regional outreach about these resources for the first time.
Stay Housed Bay Area is a collaboration between All Home and One Degree, a tech-for-good nonprofit that bridges the gap between low-income communities and vital social services. Health Leads advised along the way to help make an idea we had two years ago into a reality today.
For more information, visit Stay Housed Bay Area.

Shape the Future of AC Transit's Bus Network
On November 1, the AC Transit Board of Directors will receive a presentation introducing three draft service plan scenarios that highlight separate alternatives for the bus routes and schedules that make up the AC Transit network. They are 1) the Balanced Coverage Scenario; 2) the Frequent Service Scenario; and 3) the Unconstrained Vision Scenario. Since early this year, as part of AC Transit Realign, we solicited, heard, and incorporated your input on your essential transit needs and priorities following two phases of public outreach. From what we heard, we established Equity, Reliability, and Frequency as guiding principles to shape the future of our transit network.
We want to hear your thoughts on these preliminary service scenarios. AC Transit Realign is a comprehensive review of our bus network to respond to shifts in riders' travel patterns. Each draft service scenario has been shaped by community input concerning crucial travel needs, and each scenario demonstrates how it will advance community mobility. We are seeking comments on the preliminary service scenarios between November 1 and December 13, 2023, to help inform the development of a single, preferred service plan for implementation in August 2024. Thank you for helping us shape the future AC Transit’s bus network. Join us for upcoming AC Transit meetings/events on 11/1, 12/7, and 12/13.
For more information visit actransit.org/realign.
