Golden Drops Fire Restrictions

Due to changes in weather patterns, the Golden Fire Department has lifted the Stage 1 fire restrictions within the city limits of Golden, which were put into effect on July 11. This is effective as of noon, August 30, 2016. This does not apply to areas in Unincorporated Jefferson County, just within City limits.

Golden Fire will continue to monitor the weather and make adjustments as necessary. We still ask that citizens take precautions and be smart about extinguishing fires and cigarettes. But for now, Golden is not under any fire restrictions.
