The Gulfport Public Library is committed to the health and wellbeing of the citizens we serve. To that end, we have cancelled all library sponsored events. Community partners, and most community groups have also cancelled use of the meeting room, including; AARP Tax Help. The Circle of Friends of the Gulfport Library have suspended the acceptance of donated materials until further notice.

The Gulfport Public Library will remain open for the time being. Since the situation is fluid, we ask that you check the City of Gulfport website and the library Facebook page for the latest information on closures and cancellations Citywide. You may also call the library at 727-893-1074 if you have more specific questions.

The safety of our voters and poll workers is a priority. The Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections has taken actions to enhance sanitation protocols and protect residents of Assisted Living Facilities, voters and election workers in response to COVID-19.

POLLING PLACES – 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

  • 203 Bethel Metropolitan Baptist Church, 3455 26th Ave. S.
  • 206 & 207 Gulfport City Hall, 2401 53rd St. S.
  • 208 Gulfport Recreation Center, 5730 Shore Blvd. S.
  • 209 & 210 Gulfport Neighborhood Center, 1617 49th St. S.
  • 218 Lions Club of Gulfport, 4630 Tifton Dr. S.

Each early voting location and election day polling place will have hand sanitizer; sanitizing wipes for hands; and sanitizing wipes counter tops, pens and other surfaces. However, because resources are limited, we have encouraged voters and poll workers to bring their own sanitizing materials and take additional precautions they feel necessary to protect themselves from germs.
