My Water Use Program

The City's My Water Use Program provides a secure, web-based portal with water usage information, leak notices, tailored recommendations, and more. Residents can also set water use alerts based on preferences. Residents can sign up using their water account number at mywateruse.cityhpil.com.

My Water Use online portal allows you to:

  • Track your water use.
  • Set alerts for possible leaks or unusual usage.
  • Provides you with personalized tips on saving water.
  • Allows you to set communications preferences.

To set up your My Water Use Portal:

  1. Go to mywateruse.cityhpil.com.
  2. Click on login.
  3. Input your Account Number and Zipcode.
  4. Walk thru the automated registration flow.

Although the software is not used for billing purposes, billing data is used to generate helpful information. In cases in which live meter readings are not available, the system will use assumptions based on previously billed usage.

Visit the City's My Water Use Program.

City Council Meeting Feb. 13

The next City Council meeting will be held on Monday, February 13, beginning at 5:30 PM. The Committee of the Whole will immediately follow. The agendas, including information regarding public comment, are available at cityhpil.com/agendacenter.

Visit the City's Meeting Agenda Center.

Coats For Kids Drive

Many thanks to all who supported the City's Coats For Kids drive this year! With your overwhelming support, the Fire Department collected nearly 300 coats for local children in need. Thank you for your generosity this winter season!
