April Health, Wellness, & Innovation Highlight
City hosts networking opportunity for UGA students, Boston Scientific, & Alcon
Twenty-three University of Georgia (UGA) students learned about potential job opportunities and networked with leaders from Alcon and Boston Scientific (its future Johns Creek location is under construction in the Johns Creek Town Center) as part of the group’s Career Day visit to Johns Creek City Hall in March.
Representatives from the two companies shared valuable insights about career paths in the healthcare and life science industries, and the students toured the Alcon facility on Johns Creek Parkway.
Mayor John Bradberry spoke to the students about community engagement, economic development, and how the healthcare and life science industries are helping to enhance the City’s position as a leader in health, wellness, and innovation.
