The City of Johns Creek presents Daffodil Days, a community collaboration and celebration of a healthy and connected community, March 19-25.

 

Symbolizing new beginnings in a caring community, Daffodil Days encourages community participation through a week-long give-back and volunteer effort culminating in a celebration of the community’s collaborative achievements with The Gibson Co. gift market, farmers market, and family-friendly activities on Saturday, March 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at City Hall, 11360 Lakefield Drive.

Free Outdoor Fitness returns in March

Free Outdoor Fitness classes are a great way to stay healthy and have fun! A Free Outdoor Fitness Expo featuring class demos will be held Saturday, March 11 from 1-3 p.m. at the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater inside Newtown Park. Classes start Sunday, March 12.

Students invited participate in Mayor's Community Art Competition

Johns Creek elementary, middle, and high school students can submit 2D art pieces that are inspired by "All the World in Johns Creek."

Provide input on Barnwell Road Trail projects on Thursday, March 23

The community is invited to provide input on two trail projects along Barnwell Road on Thursday, March 23 at 7 p.m. at Barnwell Elementary School.

Johns Creek Fire Department checking hydrants

The Johns Creek Fire Department is checking hydrants in the community daily. If you notice that the water in your home is discolored after the department flows water from a hydrant, run the water lines in your home for a few moments to flush the water out. Please be patient as we check neighborhood hydrants to ensure these vital sources of water are ready and available in case of emergency.


North Fulton Master Gardeners announce Spring Gardening Lecture Series

The North Fulton Master Gardeners, in collaboration with UGA Extension in Fulton County, are hosting a free virtual gardening education program.

Save the Date: Easter Bunny Hop set for April 7

Bring the whole family for a free, fun-filled interactive walk around Creekside Park (behind City Hall). Egg collectors should bring their own baskets and parents should bring their own cameras to the event, which will feature vendors, a DJ, food, and the Easter Bunny!
