City Council approves Fiscal Year 2019 budget
Johns Creek City Council approved a $63.2 million general fund budget at its meeting Sept. 24.

City completes Brumbelow Road sidewalk project
The new 10-foot wide sidewalk along Brumbelow Road improves connectivity from Nesbit Ferry Road to Old Alabama and Newtown Park.

Renovated Farm Museum now open at Autrey Mill
The Farm Museum will serve as a focal point in the preservation of local history through the display, interpretation and protection of farming implements and artifacts that are indigenous to Johns Creek. 

Construction set to begin on Autry Mill Road sidewalk
The project, which closes a gap in the sidewalk network, connects residents to Dolvin Elementary School and Ocee Park.

Johns Creek Tunnel Mural to feature color-changing lights
Color-changing lights were added to the Johns Creek Tunnel, as part of the Johns Creek Convention & Visitors Bureau’s (CVB) project to enhance the pedestrian underpass beneath Medlock Bridge Road (141).

Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra concert set for Saturday, Oct. 6
The final summer concert of the season features the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra, who will perform at the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater starting at 7 p.m. on Oct. 6.

Walk to School Wednesday starts Wednesday, Oct. 10
Students at Dolvin, Ocee, and State Bridge Crossing elementary schools are encouraged to participate in “Walk to School Wednesday,” which takes its first step towards reducing our carbon footprint and the level of congestion on our roads.

Informational meeting for Bell Road/McGinnis Ferry intersection project set for Thursday, Oct. 11
The community is invited to provide input on the Bell Road at McGinnis Ferry intersection project at an informational meeting on Thursday, Oct. 11 from 6:30-8 p.m. at Municipal Court, 11445 Johns Creek Parkway.

City of Johns Creek, Emory Johns Creek Hospital launch 'Walk with a Doc' program
The health program that brings doctors and patients together to walk begins on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 10 a.m. at Newtown Park. The walks will continue on the second Saturday of each month.
Autrey Mill presents annual Spooky Mill Oct. 26-28
Visitors of all ages are encouraged to dress in their scariest, silliest or wackiest costumes for Autrey Mill Nature Preserve’s Spooky Mill event.
Town Hall meeting set for Thursday, Nov. 1
Mayor Mike Bodker and City Council will host their next quarterly Town Hall meeting on Thursday, Nov. 1, from 7-9 p.m. at Johns Creek Municipal Court, 11445 Johns Creek Parkway.
Johns Creek City Hall moved to temporary space
City Hall moved to its temporary space at 10700 Abbotts Bridge Road, Suite 190, while renovations are made to the new, permanent City Hall building at 11360 Lakefield Drive .
